Your choice
There is a very important set of verses in the New Testament. It is Jesus speaking of himself he states,
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son”. John 3:16-18.
If these verses are true and I believe they are. They are of the uttermost importance to anyone reading them. They ask a person to believe Jesus is the Son of God. That it is through Him you get to heaven.
These verses are the key to Christian belief.
C. S. Lewis said of Christianity,
“Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important.” C. S. Lewis.
As a Christian I am told to by Jesus to tell people about Jesus and let them make up their own mind about Him.
So if what Jesus is saying is true then your eternal resting place is determined by who you think Jesus is.
Please think about it very carefully.
