That they might have life

That they might have life,
Jesus said,
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;
I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
John 10:10.
The writer of Hebrews states,
“In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.” Hebrews 1:1-3.
This is what Christians believe. That Jesus is the Son of God. God incarnate. That he came to the earth to offer salvation to each and every persons.
C. S. Lewis states,
“He died not for men, but for each man. If each man had been the only man made, He would have done no less.” C.S. Lewis.
The apostle Paul makes it clear when he says,
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith
—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Ephesians 2:8,9.
God in sending Jesus into this world reached down and offered us Salvation free of charge. All we have to do is believe in Jesus.
The writer of Hebrews states,
“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”
 Hebrews 11:1
“And without faith it is impossible to please God,
because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists
and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
Hebrews 11:6
   Jesus speaking to Martha said,
“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;  and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
“Yes Lord” she told Him, “I believe you are the Christ the Son of God, who was to come into the world,” John 11:25,26,27.
This is a question each individual when presented with Jesus must decide for themselves. God however wants each person to make an informed decision that’s why He inspired the writing of the Bible.
Please before you decide who Jesus is at least read the New Testament.
Please think about it.
