Apart from God

Apart from God
The writer of Ecclesiastes points out,
“What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun”Ecclesiastes 1:9.
I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.” Ecclesiastes 1:14.
If we look at this life strictly from a human perspective this life can seem meaningless. If all we are here to do is give birth to the next generation then life has no meaning. It’s a repeating endless cycle that ends in death.
I do not believe this. There is far more to life than this world in which we live. Atheist are wrong. People are eternal beings.
Peter John Kreeft states,
“Atheism treats people cheaply. Also, it robs death of meaning, and if death has no meaning, how can life ultimately have meaning? Atheism cheapens everything it touches, look at the results of communism, the most powerful form of atheism on earth.
And in the end, when the atheist dies and encounters God instead of nothingness he had predicted he’ll recognize that atheism was a cheap answer because it refused the only thing that’s not cheap the God of infinite value” Peter John Kreeft ph.d.
Any atheist I’ve known  have generally made up their mind. They have placed themselves if you will as judge and jury, even God.
They say there is no God. They criticize, even verbally attack anyone who disagrees with them.
I as a Christian worship an all powerful omnipresent God. For an someone to say there is no God, is to say they have been everywhere and know all things. In order for that assumption to be true the person would have also had to have gone beyond the grave. And no atheist I’ve ever met has gone beyond the grave and lived to tell about it.
Someone once said,
“Maybe the atheist cannot find God for the same reason a thief cannot find a policeman.” Author Unknown.
They don’t want to find God.
The Psalmist writes,
“The heavens declare the glory of God;
 the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they display knowledge.
There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard.”
Psalm 19:1-3.
The Psalmist is right. If we look at the earth carefully it is perfectly positioned in the universe for life to exist as we know it. I cannot believe it just happened by chance. The universe was carefully crafted by God in order for us to exist.
Abba Hillel Silver points something else out,
“Faith in God is the strongest bulwark of a free society.  Human freedom began when men became conscious that over and above society and nature there is a God who created them...who fashioned them in His likeness, and that they are, therefore, possessed of intrinsic and independent significance and are endowed, as individuals, with original and irrevocable rights and authority.” Abba Hillel Silver.
We cannot live as a society without a common set of values to live by. A common set of rules God has laid on the heart of all men. Irrevocable rights such as freedom to do as we wish. Framed with morals telling us not to kill, not steal, and so forth. Without which society cannot function correctly.
I cannot believe ancient man convened a global conference to agree to these universal rules. They had to have come from God.
The Psalmist puts things very bluntly when he states,
“The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” Psalm 14:1.
C. S. Lewis is more diplomatic saying,
“A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word 'darkness' on the walls of his cell.” C.S. Lewis, The Problem of Pain.
Still as I said God has given man complete freedom to do as he wishes. That freedom includes the right to believe in God or not. The choice is yours.
Please think about it,
