A Lesson from Christs crucifixion

 A Lesson from Christ’s Crucifixion

Luke’s Gospel records this as happening when Jesus was crucified,

“One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!"

“But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence?

We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong."

Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.'"

Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."

Luke 23:39-43

The apostle Paul wrote,

"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Romans 10:9,10.

This is what the thief on the cross did when he was dying on the cross next to Jesus. He in the only way he knew how to, confessed his sins and believed that Jesus was Lord.

Causing Jesus to tell him he would be in paradise (Heaven).

Getting to heaven is really that simple. Confess your sins to God, and believe that Jesus is God’s Son the way to heaven.

So what do you believe?

Is Jesus the Son of God, The Saviour of mankind?

Is Jesus your saviour?

Please think about it.

A Truth

  A Truth

Jeremiah the profit quotes God as saying,

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

                                                                                               Jeremiah 29:13

Someone has said of atheists,

Maybe the atheist cannot find God

for the same reason a thief cannot find a policeman.

                                                                              Author Unknown.

It’s true you must be truly searching for God with an open mind and a sincere heart. Otherwise you will never find God.
